How Exactly The Queen Send Secret signals To Her Staff And What They Actually Mean

One of the many ways in which people communicate is their behavior in public. Many years ago, the royal women preferred to use their eyes, hands or probably the fans to impart messages secretly to their ladies-in-waiting.

The new language

But, the much respected and loveable Queen Elizabeth II had created her own language to communicate to her staff. And now, instead of using a fan, she uses her handbag. Want to know how? Just take a look.

Not just an accessory

You might have noticed that a woman uses a handbag as a fashion accessory, but do you know its secrets? Yeah! It is a tricky yet smart signal for communication.

In a recent research, the royal historian Hugo Vickers has revealed that Queen Elizabeth II carries her trusty Lauren handbag not only for fashion purposes but also to make secret gestures to her staff.

Like, if she switches her royal handbag from one hand to another, it signals her staff that she’s ready to terminate the conversation.

At an event

If she places her bag on a table at any event it indicates that she wants to end the on-going conversation within next five minutes.

And if she puts her handbag on the floor, it shows that she’s not enjoying the current talk and wants to wrap up the conversation.%image_alt%

The playful wedding ring!

If the Queen urgently likes to get rescued from a chat, she uses her another smart signal which is a discreet twist of her wedding ring.

“It would be done very nicely. Someone would come along and say, “Sir, the Archbishop of Canterbury would very much like to meet you”.
