American Pie released in theaters in all the way back in 1999. Since then, we’ve had several sequels – some great like American Wedding – and some terrible, like American Pie: The Naked Mile…and every other straight-to-DVD spin-off. We might know what Jason Biggs is up to right now, but what about the rest of the gang?
“American Pie” first appeared on big screens back in 1999.
To date, there have been eight “American Pie” films. These films have brought in $1.5 billion in box office sales over their 13-year lifespan. What happened to the actors who starred in the original, though?
Jason Biggs, Jim Levenstein – Then
At that time, apart from being the main character in American Pie, Jason Biggs used to appear in a daytime soap “As the World Turns.” Now he is all grown up, and even has a son.

Biggs’ getting it on with a full pan of apple pie is one of the most memorable scenes from “American Pie.” You’ve probably seen Biggs on “Orange is the New Black” and you may have heard him as the voice of Leonardo on the new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” animated series.

Chris Klein made his big screen debut in American Pie. Now he appears in a comedy series “Wilfred.”

Eddie played the eccentric high school student in American Pie and appeared in all main sequels that were made afterwards.

Seann made his debut on the big screen with American Pie. He appeared in “Goon” and was involved in the production of film “Before I Go.”

Scott has mastered the art of playing the lovable jerk. One of his biggest roles since the end of the “American Pie” series: the voice of Crash in the “Ice Age” movies and games.
Tara Reid, Vicky Lathum – Then
Tara, before American Pie, was known for her role in “The Big Lebowski” and “Urban Legend.” She appeared in all the main sequels except “American Wedding.”

Alyson played the role of the girl who ended up taking Jim’s virginity.

Hannigan was already a pretty big deal by the time “American Pie” came out — she was a star on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” from 1997 to 2003. She went on to play Lily on “How I Met Your Mother,” a role that lasted for nearly 10 seasons.

Mena is known for her character in American Beauty and American Pie. She also had a part in the “American Wedding,” and appeared in the first season of “American Horror Story.”

Natasha played the role of a girl who was far wiser than her age. She didn’t appear in all sequels; she was in ‘American Pie 2’ and ‘American Reunion,’ but we didn’t see her in the movie ‘American Wedding.’

Chris Owen, Chuck “The Sherminator” Sherman – Then and Now
Chris Owen appeared in every main movie and a few of the spin-offs. Now when he isn’t acting, he is spending most of his time as a photographer.

Shannon played the role of Nadia, the foreign exchange student. She also appeared in the second and fourth American Pie films.

After playing the super sexy exchange student Nadia, Elizabeth went on to play Brooke on “That ’70s Show” and could probably still play a sexy exchange student if she weren’t busy filming other roles. Recently she was seen in a series “Mellissa and Joey.”

Eugene Levy also had a role in Seann William Scott’s movie, “Goon.” He hold the distinction of being the only actor to appear in every single American Pie movie and spin-off.

Levy appeared in many movies directed and written by Christopher Guest. He also is a part of the voice cast of the animated Pixar movie “Finding Dory.”
Jennifer Coolidge, Stifler’s Mom – Then
Jennifer played the role of Stifler’s hot, mysterious mom. She played the woman Finch wanted to hook up with before hooking up with Jim’s dad in American Reunion.
