Avoid These 13 Dangerous Bedtime Habits
#1 Stop drinking before you go to bed! If you’ll drink water within 1-2 hours of sleeping, you might have to wake up 2-3 times to go to bathroom.
#2 Avoid the habit of sleeping any time of the day. Make a consistent routine and time of your sleeping, so that your mind will be prepared accordingly!
#3 Keep your electronic items away before you sleep. If you will keep using Facebook right before you sleep, your computer screen’s brightness will stimulate your mind and will disturb your sleep.
#4 If you have a habit of reading at night, try to avoid it. Read your book a little earlier and then keep it aside. Never bring your book to bed
#5 Avoid using bright alarm clocks. It will also stimulate your mind and will make sleeping complicated for you. Choose alarm clock having dimmer numbers.
#6 Never go for cheaper mattress. A high-quality mattress will make you sleep comfortably, and this will keep you fresh and healthy. So use good mattress!
#7 Have your dinner at least 2 hours before going to bed. If you’ll sleep on full stomach, your body might keep you awake for digestion process.
#8 Exercise makes you feel fresh and energetic. So stop exercising at least 3 hours before bedtime.
#9 If your feet are cold, they will probably make it difficult for you to sleep. Try using some heating pad or socks to make your feet warm.
#10 Make your body aware about night time and sleep. Start having a routine, go to bathroom, brush your teeth and wash your face. Your body will eventually prepare itself to sleep.
#11 Do not drink cappuccino at least 4 hours before you sleep. Do you know that caffeine stimulates your body and makes you feel actually fresh? So instead of taking it at night, take it when you need to stay awake!
