5 Things You Should Never Put On Your Face
Your face is the reflection of your true self and thus it’s important that you take good care of your face. Facial skin is more sensitive and thin than most of the skin on our body. Care must be taken while following a cleansing routine. While we tend to look up home remedies on the internet and blindly apply products on our face, you must take care not to apply certain products as they may harm your skin. Check out the things you must not try out on your skin:
Would you put acid on your face? No! Lemons are acidic and can cause irksome irritation on your face.
2. Rubbing Alcohol
Use rubbing alcohol on cuts and scrapes, but not on your face. Alchohol can seriously dry out your skin and kill skin cells.
Don’t take your beauty tips from Def Leopard. Sugar can actually harm your face. Find something else for your DIY facial scrub.
4. Petroleum Jelly
Unless you are getting ready for a boxing match, keep petroleum jelly off of your face. While this jelly is moisturizing, it can also trap dirt and oils in your skin, increasing the chance of a breakout.
Leave the hairspray in your hair. The alcohol and adhesives in this spray are not good for your face — not even your eyebrows!
[Bonus] 6. Meth
Few things are worse for your body (including your face) than crystal meth. Just don’t even.
[Bonus] 7. This Makeup
It’s okay to ask for help. Use makeup to compliment your best features and to diminish what you consider to be flaws, but the application has to leave you looking and feeling like you!
